The “IC” (Ionic clarifier)
System - processes and removes particulates, bacteria,
emulsified oils, dissolved metals and many other
contaminates in the waste stream by changing their
electrical properties or “Ionizing” them. Once Ionized, the
particles and contaminates begin to cluster or “Flock”
together. The Flock then separates from the water and
settles in a clarifier tank. The water is now ready to be
reused or discharged.
Ionizing the waste
stream is achieved by pumping the water through a series of
Electrodes. A specially designed PCL controlled power source
supplies the appropriate electrical currents at various
voltages and frequencies to the electrodes.
With many waste streams the
Ionization process will cause the PH to become neutral.
Waste streams that require additional treatment will be
automatically adjusted via the PLC controller and optional
PH chemical injector pump.
Flocking
Process
The treated water is sent to a
Specially designed, “Flow Thru Style” separation tank. This
tank is equipped with one or more Baffles designed to reduce
turbulence in the water and enhances the flocking process.
Ionized molecules and
particles attract to each other. The result is the formation
of clusters or “Flock”. The condensed or “Flocked” particles
now have enough mass and weight to sink to the bottom of the
tank and form sludge. The result is water that is free of
neutrally buoyant contaminates. Clear Water Makes All The
Difference!!!
